INEX Cork Peering Through 1GE Milestone
Traffic at INEX Cork exceeded 1GE for the first time on Sunday, 11 December with 1.133G of traffic over the exchange. The exchange, which officially launched in April this year, currently has 12 connections. Adding further to INEX Cork, an AS112 service went live in recent days which provides an anycast reverse DNS lookup for members peering at the exchange. Full details on the benefits of the AS112 service are located here.
