Once an application for INEX membership has been approved by the INEX committee and INEX members, the new member will be issued with an operations email which will outline all the details in relation to bringing their connection live at INEX and beginning peering. All new connections to INEX are subject to a 24 hour quarantine before the connection goes live on the peering LAN.
INEX supports connections to its Dublin exchange infrastructure at speeds of 1Gbps, 10Gbps and 100Gbps. The following connection types are supported in Dublin:
INEX Cork supports connections at 1Gbps and 10Gbps. INEX Cork accepts connections over single-mode fibre only using LX for 1Gbps links and LR for 10Gbps links. EX/ZX/ER/ZR optics are also available for a once off additional cost.
