With a 32bit ASN, you will be unable to support the well known
communities for route server filtering using standard (16bit) communities:

https://docs.ixpmanager.org/features/route-servers/#well-known-filtering-communities

How big an issue this is really depends on your prospective members and
their routers' support for large communities. Most modern NOS' now
support these:

http://largebgpcommunities.net/implementations/

Also, the next release of IXP Manager will enable UI based filtering
which means there will be a mechanism for those that have older kit.

This is just a dotting-i's crossing-t's check in the script:

https://github.com/inex/IXP-Manager/blob/master/tools/runtime/route-servers/api-reconfigure-example-birdv2.sh#L83

You can comment out those lines or add another member. A route server is
not much use without at least two members...
