You can ignore but have pushed updated versions of these files to 
prevent this from happening. You can reset them (e.g. git checkout -- 
database/Proxies/__CG__EntitiesUser.php) before pulling if there's an issue.

Yeah, some users will have this issue and I covered it in the release 
notes. If they could be clearer, please suggest what changes you think 
would help.

Nor was it meant to. I'll add a note to the release notes shortly to 
suggest people manually add this if they wish.

As this is the last minor release of the v4 branch, development of bug 
and security fixes will happen in the release-v4 branch. If you 'git 
fetch --all' and 'git checkout release-v4' now you'll have the above 
fixes and you can 'git pull' from here if you're comfortable with that 
rather than tracking the tagged releases. I'll hold off on a v4.9.1 
release for a little while to see if any more issues crop up.
