I think I previously advised to have two ASNs: one for the route 
collector / IXP and one for the route servers.

The reason you need two is because the routing policy of the IXP will be 
completely different to the routing policy of the route servers.

The question is how will IXP Manager handle this -> it won't.

We work around this by picking unused switch ports at the moment and 
we're not completely decided on how to handle this in the long run.

 From a customer perspective, it doesn't matter as the only real loss is 
traffic graphs and, as it's all internal anyway, they are not missed.
