[ixpmanager] IXPM 2 problems

Diarmuid,

no need to CC me, it just means I get the emails twice ;-)

The answers below are to the last email of that thread. There was a
diagnostic process via questions and answers that led up to this in the
thread that needed to be worked through and eventually resulted in the
answer.

The more important of these include:

1. from the server running IXP Manager, what do the following give:

a) dig +short rs1-lan1-ipv4.netlabsug.tst

b) ping rs1-lan1-ipv4.netlabsug.tst

c) wget -S -O - http://rs1-lan1-ipv4.netlabsug.tst/api/status
