[ixpmanager] Patch Panels

What is the intended use difference between "Patch Panel Name" and "Colocation reference"? Both say to use the reference the colocation provider has assigned. Is it intended for them to be the same or should they be different? Maybe the colocation reference *IS* what the colocation provider assigns, while the patch panel name could be something friendly?
